SHELFY SMITH AND THE CASE OF THE CUP

Shelfy and Walker went almost everywhere together. Well, except to the bathroom. That would be disgusting.
But anyway, one day they were playing chess (Shelfy, of course, was winning, with her queen, knight, and king against Walker's pawn and King) at Shelfy's house when Sherlock came in. Shelfy looked up and smiled. Sherlock looked at their game.
"Oh, man, Walker, you're dead," Sherlock commented, and Walker pouted. "Anyway, we've got to go to a crime scene. Quick, come on,"
"Can I come?" asked Walker, who didn't feel like being left out of all the awesome coolness.
"It's an open case. No one's really supposed to know,"
"I won't tell,"
"No,"
"Sherlock, please? Come on, Walker's helped me solve cases and maybe he could solve this one." Abby pleaded, and a few minutes later, they were all on their way to the crime scene.
They saw a glass cup with a slightly purple liquid-- wine. But they also saw the victim -- old Mr. Black.
"Mr. Black was hit upside the head six hours ago with that cup. He's in a coma, he'll be okay. There are three suspects-- Bobby Young, Mike Fox, and Joey Jones. They arrived just now and know nothing about what happened, or so they claim. C'mon you can watch me question them."
The friends followed Walker into the kitchen. Joey came in first. Sherlock signaled to the glass cup and said, "Mr. Black is in a coma." He didn't say anything else and Joey started to cry.
"I liked Mr. Black. I know we fought a lot, but we used to be very close. I hope you get the guy who gave it to him!"
Next up was Bobby. Sherlock used the same approach. He sighed and rubbed his forehead.
"I don't know what to say. Whoever clobbered him is a total bubblehead. I'm sorry, but I've got to go soon."
Finally Mike was interviewed. Sherlock used the approach one more time.
"Poisoned, was he? Huh-- I knew this was going to happen sooner or later. He had loads of enemies."
Shelfy shook her head and was about to point out the crook when Walker said the name.
"It's Bobby Young. He put Mr. Black into the coma,"
